To give you a general understanding of modern slavery and human trafficking and how churches have an important role in raising awareness and taking action. To enable you to recognise, respond, refer, and record concerns relating to modern slavery and human trafficking

On completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

  To be able to recognise the signs and indicators of modern slavery and human trafficking.
  To be able to respond to a potential victim of modern slavery and human trafficking..
  To be able to record the correct information about a concern relating to modern slavery or human trafficking.
  To be able to identify where to get advice, support and help and to describe who an individual who is affected by modern slavery and human trafficking can be referred to.

This training will build on any previous safeguarding training you have completed. If you have not previously completed safeguarding training, you may find it helpful to complete the Church of England basic awareness safeguarding training which you get to here.
